About us

Amori

Amor (love) + Mori (death)
Where the love we hold for our loved ones persists beyond death.

Our mission

Increase life’s meaning through reflection on mortality and cultivate a sense of preparedness.

Our goal

Become the trusted mortality companion that redefines how we perceive death, grieve, and cope—crystallizing what we want for ourselves as we all prepare to exit this world.

Our vision

A world where mortality is universally met with peace and acceptance.

The story behind

"Amori was created in 2024 after my mom passed away from breast cancer.

For 4 years, all our energy went into supporting her recovery. Conversations about death and other meaningful topics were set aside—until it was too late.

Having so much left unsaid and not knowing whether she had the support she needed when facing her fears about mortality weighed heavily on me, making grief even harder to navigate. This experience sparked a deep desire in me to help others find peace of mind while navigating a serious illness.

Amori exists to bring peace of mind by helping individuals navigate the complex emotions surrounding mortality. It provides a safe space to reflect and share thoughts that may be too difficult to express in person and ensures their loved ones find comfort and strength in their words.

It’s something I built for people like my mom and me."
